Another short but surprisingly long week. How does it do that? In the past few weeks, I've come to a series of conclusions which could be potentially life changing and discussing one of the major ones with you yesterday really helped solidify the plans in my head. As ever, you are my voice of reason, thank you.
Managed to slice my finger with a knife amongst the washing up on Monday... this doesn't happen with a dish washer... note to self, buy a dishwasher one day.
There is a very cool and blustery breeze blowing here today despite the sunshine. I had a bit of a sleep in this morning and didn't get up until almost 6am which is late for me. I only jogged for a pathetic, (for me,) 20 minutes. The calf strain from last week is fine but I've now managed to pull the muscle in the back of my right thigh and it was too uncomfortable to run on and so for once, I was sensible and cut short the workout. I'm going to give the run a miss tomorrow and do some toning instead.
The healthy eating actually started this week ahead of my schedule of 1st May. I didn't do too badly, took lunch to work and everything! I didn't lose any weight but it was a short week after all and anyway, any good that I did do was probably annihilated by the celebratory sausage butties of yesterday, even if they were the low fat, turkey option.
Treated myself to Aussie Mega Instant conditioner, shampoo and a 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy as they were on 3 for 2! The head is in dire need of help and on Tuesday, every time I stood before the mirrors in the ladies washing my hands, I couldn't help but notice that the head was expanding horizontally with static and frizz as the day progressed. It's crying out for help and despite the trend for long and luscious locks due to Kate's influence, I fear mine may be in for the chop... pretty soon.
After our Lindt Bunny conversation yesterday, as I walked past the reduced bunny display today, I decided on one last indulgence, purely to keep you company of course so I do hope you made it back to the store to buy yours!
It really feels like a Sunday today which is good news as I get to have a do-over tomorrow!
It was great, not to mention a relief to hear that you're feeling so much better. Since you were taken ill, I have heard of three people in work who have recently been in with the same and now Danni Minogue has been rushed into a hospital in London with appendicitis... see how current you are!?
