I do love our Sunday catch ups, it always gets my day off to a happy start! Before you rang, I watched the Blissology man while I had my breakfast and checked emails, no idea what he was saying as the sound was down as I multi-tasked but he was sat on a hilltop beneath a beautiful blue sky with waves rolling in behind him. It looked divine.
No workout for me this morning, (except for plies,) with the housework and gardening of yesterday, I felt wiped out this morning and so once I managed to talk myself out of bed, I opted for a lovely and leisurely start to the day, topped off with you... perfect.
We have a winner of BGT! Results were announced in reverse order from 10 - 1. The top four were absolutely right and the great British public got it right once again. It turned out that there was a mere 2.5% difference in the votes for first and second place!
The winner, an unassuming Scotsman by the name of Jai McDowall took the grand prize and the honour of performing at this years Royal Variety Show in front of Her Majesty. His voice needs a little polish but I can see him having a long career... especially in musical theatre. Runner up was my favourite, Ronan Parke, the little 12 year old boy with the big voice. I'm absolutely positive that both young men have amazing opportunities just waiting for them. I'll post links at the bottom of this should you wish to indulge. Also going to include a clip from Razy's semi final performance. I thought his semi performance was better than his final performance, this man does things I've never seen before unless it was computer generated! I'll also put a link to one of the guest performers, a little girl called Jackie Evancho who was runner up on the first America's Got Talent series. I couldn't take my eyes and ears off her. This little girl who thankfully they're allowing to look and dress like a little girl and not make her grow up too quickly, does have a very grown up voice. In a few short years she'll be giving Katherine Jenkins a run for her money... just mesmerising.
Sad to see Ant and Dec leave our screens again but it'll only be for a short while, I do love those too and I'll miss them saying; "Royal Variety Charity," in those Geordie tones! So cute.
I spoke too soon yesterday, it's cool and rainy again today and the boots, jacket and hat are back on! I'm not at all jealous of your 21 degrees!
I have a few long days of training this week in work, sooooo looking forward to that, and next Saturday, I'll be writing to you from England's Walled City when I visit to gather university information. Until then...love you x
